Project Distribution was founded in July 2008 by Ben Ventress, with humble beginnings in a single garage and spare bedroom. Through hard work, persistence and a love of skateboarding, the company has grown now employing multiple staff and housed in custom warehouses (with its very own skate ramp!). Project’s uniqueness comes from the people their accounts deal with – employing specialists in account management, warehouse management, marketing and design, but more importantly, the majority of staff are skaters, either currently or ex sponsored skaters with a distinctive knowledge of the industry.
Run by skateboarders for skateboarding, supporting the local stores that support the local scene.
Project prides itself on offering exceptional account and brand management, supporting the local skateboarding scene in Australia and sponsoring the most talented skaters in the country. Ben’s dedication to skateboarding has seen the company grow to represent some of the best brands in the industry and become one of the most respected distribution houses in skateboarding. Staying true to its humble beginnings, Project continue focusing on doing what it does best – providing the best customer service and building the brands entrusted to them to manage.
